April Wynn Evans entered this life on April 14, 1979, in Augusta, Georgia as the proud daughter of the late Viola Wynn. She attended the public schools of Hancock County and was a member of the class of 1997.

At the eager age of 13, April was known as the local cosmetologist. Everyone knew her would come and get, “the hookup”. She would later enroll at Central Georgia Technical College and studied Cosmetology.

She really loved the Lord, so at an early age she gave her life to Christ. April was a member of New Life Outreach Christian Center of Eatonton, Georgia. She read her Bible often and studied the Word of God, but most of all she lived the Word. April was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.

On July 28, 2006, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Marcus Evans.

Her precious memories will be forever cherished in the heart of her husband, Marcus Evans, her nine devoted children, Montrez (Mikia) Edwards, Dontez Edwards,  Dontavious, Donovan, and Donmonic Harper, Michaela, Makia and Makel Wynn all of Milledgeville Georgia, Marquez Evans of  Cheaspeake, Virginia, her granddaughter, Aubrie Edwards;  mother in-law, Valeria (John) Lovett, father In-law,  Steven (Aketi) Mayweather, her only sister, Giovanna (Marco) Battle,  five sister-in-laws, Makesha (Robert) Ruff, Jennie (Ronald) Hampton, Sparkle Bryant, Chelsey Mayweather,  Latesha Mayweather,  nine brother-in-laws,  Hokiward Evans, Darius Stroud, Rodriquez Stroud, Bernard Butts Jr., Steve (Vivian) Mayweather, Brandon Ingram, Terrance Canty, Frank Hamm, Rodriquez Mayweather,  three uncles and aunts,  a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers funds to be used for scholarships for April’s kids may be deposited to CGR Credit Union under account name “April Evans Kids Scholarship”
