Our family chain has been broken once again. On Sunday, May 29, 2022, our loved one Antonio Tanksley was called home to rest.
Antonio was born on October 20, 1972, to the late Mrs. Maggie Tanksley and the late Sampson Brinkley.
He attended the Warren County School System.
He was a forklift driver supervisor for Timbermen Corporation. He loved his job. He always told us that the place could not run without him.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Ree Tanksley; father, Sampson Brinkley; a brother, Mr. Melvin Tanksley; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Rena Johnson, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom and Mary Culver; aunts, Mrs. Marie Lattimore, Mrs. Luvena Moss, and Mrs. Ida Tolbert; uncle, Mr. Eddie Lewis Johnson; and cousins, Janet Heath, Derrick Tanksley, Anthony Moss, and Ronnie Tolbert.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two sisters, Mrs. Shirley (William) Howard of Warrenton, Georgia and Ms. Carolyn William of Madison, Georgia; three brothers, Mr. Mario Tanksley, Mr. Milton Tanksley, and Mr. Rodney Tanksley, all of Warrenton, Georgia; five daughters, Laporsha Tanksley, Tekkeria Hobbs, Chrystal Allen, Antonia Ivey, and Tya Ivey, all of Warrenton, Georgia; five sons, Franquan Hobbs of Atlanta, Georgia, Antonio Lott, Dantavious Allen, Jatavious Allen, and Taryn Ivey, all of Warrenton, Georgia; 13 grandchildren, Rylin, Jhase, Quaniya, Promise, Chance, Franquan, Chozen, Terrance, Jaiden, Jaliyah, Laiyah, Karon, and Tyra; nieces and nephews, Kiawanna, Brittany, Tyeisha, Denisha, Kischondrius, Maria, Melody, Shantia, Milkell, Kavoris, Bronte, Quez, Jamiah, Yanayah; three aunts, Mrs. Addie Tanksley, Mrs. Christine Johnson of Warrenton, Georgia, and Mrs. Virginia Neal of Charlotte, North Carolina; and a host of sorrowful cousins and friends. He will truly be missed.
