Minister Antiowne Lavex Walker was born on September 3, 1976 to James M. Walker and the late Sevonzell (Martin) Walker at McDuffie County Hospital, Thomson, GA. On Thursday October 15, 2020 he transitioned to Glory at his home with family at his side.
Minister Walker was a good and faithful servant at the Believer’s Church of the Glory Ministries. He held the position as a Minster of Music, he loved singing, preaching, and playing his drums and making everyone tired when they danced. He loved making people laugh. He really loved his Lord and Savior and accepted Him at a young age.
Antiowne was preceded in death by his wife Audrey (Hunter)Walker and his mother Sevonzell Walker.
He graduated from Warren County High School in 1995. During and after high school he was employed at Long John Silvers. He held many positions; he was a dedicated, hardworking and dependable individual who loved and mastered his craft of truck driving up until 2018.
Antiowne’s mission in life was to own his own food truck and trucking company. He was extraordinary chef. His motto was “No matter what you go through you gotta push.”
His loving memories will live on in the hearts of: his fiancé Shantrese Phelps of Jacksonville, FL; two daughters, Shakirah Huff of Atlanta, GA and Laila Brown of Augusta, GA; son Alton(Velquine) Andrews of Clarksville, TN; his father, James Walker; mother/aunt, Barbara(Eddie) Dawson; sister, Salantria Walker Thomas; nephews, Vernard Walker, Jamarcus Walker, Jamaal Thomas, and Aaron Thomas all of Warrenton, GA; a loving grandmother, Sarah Ann Martin of Lithonia, GA; caring and supportive individual Ella Mae Barnes; his best friend Kurtis Cummings and very special relative Mary Hobbs; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
