Amos Rivers Obituary

Amos Rivers was born on September 25, 1958, to Gladys Medlock and Lenard Tarver.

Amos attended the Warren County Public School System in Warrenton, Georgia. He spent most of his spare time with his grands, nieces, and nephews.

When he wasn’t spending time with his family, he was helping others. Amos had a helping hand as well as a helping heart. He was known for his generous heart and humble spirit.

On November 3, 2019, he entered into God’s loving arms. His loving soul is now at rest.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving mother, Gladys Medlock; one daughter, Natasha Reynolds of Sparta, Georgia; six grandchildren, Jasmine Reynolds, Javonte Reynolds, Shontezja Murray, Donald Harper, Jr., Chiya Reynolds, and Najee Reynolds; three great-grandchildren, Jayden Reynolds, Autumn Alexander, and Jaylei Reynolds; six brothers, Willie Joe Medlock, Danny Medlock of Thomason, Georgia, Anthony Medlock, Antonio Medlock, and Gregory Medlock, all of Warrenton, Georgia, and Kenneth (Denise) Medlock of Thomason, Georgia; two sisters, Lakisha Robertson and Tamika (Cecil) Robertson Johnson, both of Warrenton, Georgia; and a host of family, friends and loved ones.
