Yvonne “Bonnie” Lanier
Yvonne Lanier of Sparta, Georgia, joined the Lord on June 17, 2018 at the age of 58. She was born on January 24, 1960 in Sparta to Bridie and the Late Charlie Lanier.
Yvonne always believed in the promises of the Lord. She joined Sandy Run at an early age, where she found and dedicated her life to Christ. She would eventually move to Hampton, Georgia and became a long time member and greeter at Community Fellowship Christian Center International. She graduated from Hancock Central High School and found her calling in life shortly after that. After attending and graduating from Atlanta Medical College for dentistry, she spent the rest of her life giving anyone that talked with her the confidence to smile.
The only thing that rivaled her ability in dentistry, was her ability in the kitchen. Anytime you stopped by you would be greeted with a warm smile, and the scent of a new creation. Yvonne lived her life, like that of her kitchen. She was not afraid to try new things and was always up to a new challenge.
She was preceded in death by Father Charlie Lanier and Brother Clinton Lanier.
Yvonne is survived by her Mother Bridie Lanier, Sons Anton Davis, Maxx Morell, daughter in Law Cecilia Davis, Brianna Morrell, Grandchildren Sophia Morrell, Samuel Morrell, Sisters Carthelia (Tee) Lanier, Charlene (Cha) Lanier, Brenda Wright, Nieces and Nephews Laderrick Lanier (Chasica), Averil Cobbs, Nekethia Jones (Dequan), Nichole Cobbs, Tiffany Rhone (James), Malik Jones, Shamere Jones, Averil Cobbs Jr, Mekehi Jones, and Saniya Jones.
