Lois Jackson went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2017. Lois was born on April 20, 1947 in Warrenton, Georgia to the late Eva Lou Carter and father Sam Carter. She attended Warren County Public Schools. She later was employed at Uniroyal for 12 years, Health Tech 15 years and Thomson Plastic over 10 years until her health failed and she had to retire.  Lois was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Lois was joined in Holy Matrimony to Joseph Jackson Jr. on December 25, 1969. To this union three children was born and one step daughter was also combined to this union.         

            Mrs. Lois was preceded in death by Eva Lou Carter (mother), Sam Cater (father), Susie Kate Carter (sister), Annie Cake Wingfield (sister), and Albert Carter (brother).

            She leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing are her children Antonio Jackson (Angela Robinson) of Hancock GA, Amanda Jackson of Warrenton GA, Mario Jackson (Farmeshia Dukes) of Warrenton GA and Toni Washington (Michael Washington) of Thomson GA. Five brothers James Carter of Coxsackie, New York, Arthur Carter of Atlanta GA , Jimmy Lee Carter (Ida Mae Carter), Warrenton GA,  Louis Carter of Warrenton GA and John Willie Carter of Thomson GA.  And also surviving sister in law  Mary Carter: seven grandchildren, three great-grand, children a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
