It was God’s plan to call Joe Henry Lott, Sr. home on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at his residence. .Joe was born, December 15, 1945 in Hancock County Georgia to the late Willie Lott and Lillie Mable Lott. He found the Lord and savior and joined Union Baptist Church at an early age.

Joe attended Hancock County School System and furthered his education at a Technical School in Macon Georgia.  He then served in the United States Army where he received an Honorable Discharge. Joe worked at several places in his lifetime. He took pride in using his many talents to do odd jobs to help those in needs such as masonry, carpentry, landscaping, etc.

On December 14, 1968, Joe was united in holy matrimony to Pauline Heath.  To this union three children were born.  One preceded him in death, Sheryl Marie Lott.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 49 years, Pauline Heath Lott; his son Joe Henry Lott, Jr (Melinda); his daughter Christy Lott Barnwell (Issac Lavert); three grandsons Jackson Cole Lott, Aiden Chandler Lott and Miles David Barnwell; three sisters Morie Gordon, Carvie Reynolds and Willie M. Murchison (Isaiah); twelve sisters-in law, seven brothers-in law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
