Reflections of an Astonishing Woman
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Ms. Gladys Lattimore was born November 26, 1968 in Warren County to the parents of Cora Bell Latimore and the late Robert Latimore.
Gladys was an employee of Pilgrim Pride in which she was an assistant supervisor. She was very outgoing, friendly, helpful and a loving person. Gladys never met a stranger. No matter what was going on, Gladys would always be Gladys –just a happy, caring, uplifting and emotional person. She would have tears of sorrow and tears of joy. Gladys brought joy to many with her love for life as well as her love for people. She loved having fun with friends, dancing, and being around family and friends.
Four brothers, Alvertus “Jerry” Lowe, William Lowe, Robert Lee Lowe, and Eddie Louis Lowe, and one sister, JoeAnn Lowe preceded her in death.
Gladys leaves behind two loving daughters, Teaunna Latimore (Tyrone) and Shantea (Mario) Lucas, both of Norwood GA and six beautiful grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted mother, Cora Bell Latimore, Norwood GA; one aunt, Annie Bell Yarbough, six brothers, Linton Latimore, Willie (Cinderella) Latimore, Billie (Lakecia) Latimore, Cemonia Ray all of Norwood, Georgia, Eric (Stacy) Latimore, Thomson, Georgia, Larry Viasey, Charleston, South Carolina; three sisters, Ernestine Lowe, Martha Hudson, both of Norwood, Georgia, LaShanda Lattimore, Kathleen, Georgia; two special friends Mathew Poss and Nathaniel Scott, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
