Arturo Dejaro Nash

Mr. Arturo Nash, Sr., known to his friends and family as "Turo”, gained his wings on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in Sparta, GA. Arturo Nash was born to Elma Nash-Harper and the late Benjamin Nash on November 5, 1972 in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Turo was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Nash and stepfather, Tommy Harper.  Turo grew up in Sparta, GA and graduated from Hancock Central High School in 1991. After graduation, Turo worked factory jobs  until his departure. He married Tawanda Thomas on August 11, 2002 and together had four children.

Turo enjoyed watching football, especially the Atlanta Falcons, raising dogs and spending time with family and friends.

The fondest memories of Arturo will be cherished by his loving wife: Mrs. Tawanda Ward-Nash, Macon, GA; mother: Mrs. Elma Nash-Harper, Sparta, GA; children: Alicia Thomas, Milledgeville, GA, Adrianna Thomas, Augusta, GA, Arturo Nash, Jr., Statesboro, GA, Tiara Nash, Macon, GA , Bailey Willis, Dallas, TX,  his only grandson: Dekarian Smith, Milledgeville, GA three brothers: Keith Nash, Milledgeville, GA, Dexter Nash & Robin Nash, both of Sparta, GA; 6 aunts, 5 uncles, mother-in-law: Mary J. Ward, Milledgeville, GA two sisters-in-law, Cynthia Ward, Powder Springs, GA, Latasha Ward, Milledgeville, GA, a devoted nephew: Antwan Jones, Jonesboro, GA, and a host of  nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives  & friends.
