Richard Andrews Sr. was born on December 17, 1958, the eleventh child of the late Oliver and Onar Andrews. On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, God called Richard home from labor to reward.
Richard gave his life to Christ, at an early age, at the Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Richard attended Warren County Schools. He was a machine operator at HP Pelzer Automotive Company and was also a “Handy Man” for Mr. George Birch.
He loved motorcycles, cars, and spending time with his friends and family. Affectionately known as Bolo, Ricky, Baby Boy, Pretty Ricky, Scab Ahead, and Uncle Ricky by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mario Andrews, one sister, Wylene Andrews-Ivey, and three brothers, David Andrews, Oliver Andrews, and Mark Andrews.
Richard leaves to cherish many wonderful memories: his four loving children, Pedro Neal, Richard (Crystal) Andrews, Jr., of Tampa, Florida, Reginald Johnson of Warrenton, Georgia and Ta’Mara Stephens of Albany, Georgia; his four adorable grandchildren, Tatiyana Neal, Richard Andrews, lll, Jasani Andrews, and Kameron Andrews; his six siblings, Willie Bell Minor of Snellville, Georgia, Willie Ben (Christine) Andrews of Atlanta, Georgia, Dorothy (Rev. Earnest) Merriweather, Annie Andrews of Jewell, Georgia, Juanita (Robert) Hull of Sumter, South Carolina, and Pearl (Eddie) Ivey of Augusta, Georgia, one brother-in-law Leonard Ivey of Snellville, Georgia, sister-in-law Georgia Andrews of Decatur, Georgia and his uncle L. C. Moss of Detroit, Michigan; his Road Dog, Grady (Sara) Warthen and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
