Penny Cenica Ivey

Penny Cenica Ivey was born On December 14, 1962 to the late Mattie Y. Ivey and Fredrick January.

Penny was a very loving, outgoing, spontaneous person. She was the one who loves to have fun, love to make people happy, laugh and sometime mad. Penny loved her family and friends. She cherished her five children and no matter what, she was always happy to see them come around. No matter where life took her, she was always thinking about her children. She kept them close to her heart.

She was preceded in death by one brother, resting in peace Andre’ Ivey.

She leaves to cherish her memory; five children, four sons and 1 daughter, Antrone Moss, Sophial Ivey, Veuncle Ivey, Travis Ivey, and Fredrick Ivey all of Sparta, Georgia;  four sisters, Marry Lois Yarber of Thomson, Georgia, Geraldine (Bernard) Williams of Atlanta Georgia, Charlotte (Rodney) Ivey of Warrenton, Georgia and Kathy Wilson of Thomson Georgia; three brothers, Willie (Cicelia) Ivey of Warrenton, Georgia, Curtis (Brenda) Ivey of Mayfield, Georgia, Stacy (Empress) Ivey of Warrenton, Georgia. A special friend, Elwood Farley and a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye land. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves: we are His people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him and bless his name.
