Life Reflections
“Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning”
On January 25, 1945, Joseph Grable, Jr. was born to the parents of the late Joseph (Bay) Grable, Sr. and Susie Mae Salad-Grable in the Hancock County, Devereux Community, GA.
Joseph attended the Hancock County Public School. He joined the Powell Grove Baptist Church at an early age. Later he moved his membership to Stanton Grove Baptist and attended as his health would allow.
Joe spent many years in Springfield, Ohio. He decided to return to Sparta to live, during his return he met his companion Lannie Lewis and her children, thus began a family bond of love and devotion. To know Joe was to love him. He was good------ to everyone he met, loved music and dancing and was full of jokes. He will be greatly missed.
